7 Lucky Enterprises Ltd is a Calgary roofing, siding, eavestrough and garage-building company built on a simple idea: do premium work, quote it honestly, and stand behind every job. We're based out of Westwinds in the northeast and work right across the city and out through Southern and Central Alberta.
Owner Lucky is hands-on from the first inspection to the final walkthrough. That means you talk to the person actually responsible for your project — not a call centre, not a commissioned salesperson who never sees the site again — and the same standard shows up on every roof, wall, eavestrough and garage we touch.
Alberta weather is hard on homes. Hail, chinook wind and heavy snow load test every seam and fastener on a building. We build for that: impact-rated materials where they earn their keep, full ice-and-water shield at eaves and valleys, correctly flashed penetrations, balanced attic ventilation, and installation to spec throughout. When a storm does its damage, we handle the insurance side too — inspection, photo documentation, adjuster meeting, scope and measurements.
No cut corners, no disappearing after the deposit, no high-pressure sales. If a repair is the right call, we'll tell you that even though a replacement is the bigger ticket. That's the whole business model, and it's why most of our work comes from referrals and repeat customers.
What we do
Four trades, one accountable crew.
Roofing is the core of the business — asphalt shingle installation, full tear-off replacements, targeted leak and flashing repairs, and hail and storm restoration with insurance-claim support. We install premium warrantied product lines from IKO, GAF, Malarkey and BP, including Class 4 impact-rated shingles for hail-exposed properties.
Siding covers vinyl and insulated vinyl, James Hardie fibre cement, and the soffit, fascia and trim that finish an exterior properly. A re-side is the fastest way to change how a house reads from the street, and on a hail claim it's often approved alongside the roof.
Eavestroughs get formed on-site — 5" and 6" seamless aluminum run to the exact length of your roofline, with matching downspouts, extensions and gutter guards. Water management is not a nice-to-have in a city built on clay soil; it's what keeps your basement dry and your fascia from rotting.
Garages are the newest side of the business — detached single, double and oversized garage builds from the pad up, plus re-roofing and re-siding existing garages so they match the house. Same crew, same warranty, same permit handling.
Doing all four in-house matters more than it sounds. A roof, its eavestroughs, the fascia they hang on and the wall assembly below are one connected water-management system. When separate trades own separate pieces, the gaps between them are exactly where leaks start — and exactly where nobody wants to take responsibility. One crew, one warranty, one phone number.

How far we go
Calgary north to Red Deer.
Our regular working radius is roughly 180 km from the shop in NE Calgary. That covers every quadrant of the city, the QEII corridor north through Airdrie, Crossfield, Carstairs, Didsbury, Olds, Bowden and Innisfail all the way to Red Deer, the foothills west through Bearspaw, Springbank, Cochrane, Bragg Creek and out to Canmore, the ranch country south through De Winton, Okotoks, High River, Diamond Valley and Nanton, and the prairie east through Chestermere, Langdon, Strathmore and on to Drumheller.
Acreages are a normal part of the workload, not an exception. Rocky View, Foothills, Mountain View and Red Deer County properties come with their own realities — long unpaved approaches, wind exposure with no neighbouring buildings to break it, big roof areas, well and septic locations to work around, and materials that have to be staged rather than fed off a truck all day. We price and schedule for that up front instead of discovering it on install day.
