What finished work should look like.

Every photograph below is a job we built. They are worth looking at for the details rather than the colours: whether the shingle courses run straight across a long elevation, whether the ridge cap is even, whether the valley metal is sized to the water it carries, whether the step flashing at a wall is let in properly rather than caulked over, and whether the eavestrough line follows the fascia without a visible dip.

Those are the things a homeowner can actually judge from a photo, and they are the things that decide whether a roof reaches its rated life. Ask any contractor you are considering for photos of their own completed work at that level of detail — not manufacturer stock imagery — and look at the edges rather than the middle.

The work shown spans all four trades: roofing, siding, eavestroughs and garages — on houses, detached garages and acreage outbuildings across Calgary, the QEII corridor north to Red Deer, the foothills west to Canmore, the ranch country south to Nanton and the prairie east to Drumheller.
